We are using Sage Alerts/Knowledgesync to perform Quote Follow-ups for CRM salespeople. The Event will identify opportunities in SageCRM that are ready for follow-up and it generates a PDF of the quote from Sage 100 and attaches it to an email to the customer. There are 20+ salespeople that are part of this system. Right now the SMTP FROM address it hardcoded with the Email Account that is setup in KS. That means we have to use a generic email like alerts@ or sales@ which will very often go to the recipients junk mail. Having the ability to pass the FROM email address as a variable on the Email Deliverable event (just like you have the EMAIL REPLY ADDRESS option) would be a great feature. I know that SageCRM and other applications will relay emails and pass thru the FROM email address based on the sender, so I am sure there is a way it can be accomplished. With so many CRM salespeople, it doesn't make sense to create a separate email account in KS for each user. This new feature could be applied to so many other salesperson automation and follow up scenarios, I would think it would be a great selling point for the product.
