We have Customers who are required to prevent communication with their own Clients outside of the usual 9-5. Whilst the current method of restricting the triggering of events to the criteria in the schedules/holidays works to a degree, it is also causing headaches designing certain types of alerts.
My example is chasing for unpaid invoices.
The event triggers when an invoice has not been paid for 14 days. To achieve this the event must run daily to identify invoices that meet the 14 day overdue criteria. An email is then sent including a copy invoice.
With the current scheduling restrictions I can only prevent the chaser from being sent. What would be great would be if the event could still trigger but the sending of the email be delayed until the next allowed window (next working day within the 9-5).
As it stands we have to build complex filtering logic which is very difficult!
